Friendship There is no better way to meet other moms in our community! Raising young children can sometimes make mothers feel isolated. Our hope is that by attending some of our many monthly events, you and your children will make lasting friendships- both to provide support and to share this special time in your lives.
Playgroups
The MOMS Club® encourages you to join one of our playgroups. They are one of the greatest benefits of our club. It is a great way to get better acquainted with other MOMS Club® members, an an excellent way for your children to forge lasting friendships. Currently, our club offers two different playgroup experiences for members to choose from. Many members utilize both types!
Weekly Playgroups!
These are traditional playgroups, generally formed based upon children’s birthdates. They are usually held once a week and rotate between each playgroup member’s home. The Chapter Playgroup Coordinator organizes playgroups and admits new members into playgroups. Playgroups may also choose activities for the entire club to be put on the monthly calendar. Each playgroup has a Playgroup Leader who coordinates scheduling and maintains contact with the Chapter Playgroup Coordinator.
If you would like to join a playgroup, please contact the our Playgroup Coordinator and she will work to find you a playgroup that is appropriate for your child’s age. She will also put you in contact with the Playgroup Leader.
If we currently don’t have an appropriate playgroup for you or the one you are in no longer works out, the Playgroup Coordinator will work to start a new one for you. *If this is the case, please don’t be discouraged. We have several members joining all the time and new playgroups tend to form quickly.
Our MOMS and Munchkins monthly business meeting, as well as monthly open playgroups, are wonderful ways to meet other moms & kids! We encourage you to attend those, too!
Monthly Open Playgroups!
Since not all of our moms have the availability or desire to join weekly playgroups (and in order to discourage tight “clicques” from forming in a club of our size), our club has implemented open playgroups as a great way to meet other members in a small, more casual setting (often in member homes). Anyone in our club is welcome to attend these days, based on the numbers determined by that month’s hostess.
We try and have three age specific open playgroups each month: 18 months and under, 1.5-3 years, and 3& up. Other aged siblings are always welcome to come, though we try and gear any themed activities toward the listed age!
Past open playgroup themes have included a tomato planting party, Valentine’s party, Easter egg hunt, and Earth Day celebration.

The MOMS Club® of North Attleborough, MA welcomes all mothers to join our club. Though started for at-home mothers, moms who work outside the home are also invited to join. Since the majority of our moms are at-home or working part-time, the majority of activities take place during the day when we are home with our children. Prospective members submit an email by clicking “Email Us” from the page list above to learn more about the club and receive a complimentary newsletter and membership form.
Prospective members are invited to attend up to two Business Meetings (known in our club as MOMS and Munchkins Meetings). Please keep in mind that for liability reasons, all other club events and activities (including playgroups) are for members only. You can also learn more about the MOMS Club® by visiting the International website at www.momsclub.org.
Our club dues are $30 yearly (and can be waived in case of financial hardship). We are a nonprofit club so all money is used to cover club expense and projects. Examples of club expenses included printing costs, office supplies, yearly dues to the International MOMS Club® organization. In addition, money from the club treasury is at times donated to charitable organizations as approved by majority vote at a club Business Meeting. Club dues are good for one year. Upon your membership anniversary, a renewal notice will appear in the club newsletter.
There are MOMS Clubs® in nearly all the surrounding towns to North Attleborough and new clubs are being added monthly! If you live outside the North Attleborough city limits and are interested in finding a chapter near you, please contact the International organization via email [momsclub@aol.com] or through the mail at:
